Alice Sauvrezis (1865-1946) war eine franz\u00f6sische Komponistin, Pianistin, Chorleiterin und Pr\u00e4sidentin der „Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Artistique et Litt\u00e9raire de l’Ouest“ (Quelle: Wikipedia<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sie schrieb vielleicht mehr als ein St\u00fcck f\u00fcr Orgel, aber derzeit bekannt ist nur eines, n\u00e4mlich ein Choral in E-Dur. Ver\u00f6ffentlich wurde dieser im Jahr 1914 und diese Fassung l\u00e4sst sich bei IMSLP<\/a> anschauen – das St\u00fcck ist dort als „nicht gemeinfrei in der EU“ gekennzeichnet, da die Lebensdaten des Herausgebers der Ma\u00eetres contemporains de l\u2019orgue<\/em>, Joseph Joubert, zugrundegelegt wurden. Der Choral ist auch im Sammelband<\/a> „Women Composer’s Album“ von Charles Callahan enthalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe she wrote more than one piece for organ, but at this point in time, only one piece is known: a „chorale“ in E major. This piece was published in 1914 and can be found on IMSLP<\/a>. It’s marked as „non public domain in EU“ due to the biographical data of Joseph Joubert, the publisher. However, the piece is also part of the collection<\/a> „Women Composer’s Album“, edited by Charles Callahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
