Alice Sauvrezis (1865-1946) war eine französische Komponistin, Pianistin, Chorleiterin und Präsidentin der „Société Artistique et Littéraire de l’Ouest“ (Quelle: Wikipedia).
Sie schrieb vielleicht mehr als ein Stück für Orgel, aber derzeit bekannt ist nur eines, nämlich ein Choral in E-Dur. Veröffentlich wurde dieser im Jahr 1914 und diese Fassung lässt sich bei IMSLP anschauen – das Stück ist dort als „nicht gemeinfrei in der EU“ gekennzeichnet, da die Lebensdaten des Herausgebers der Maîtres contemporains de l’orgue, Joseph Joubert, zugrundegelegt wurden. Der Choral ist auch im Sammelband „Women Composer’s Album“ von Charles Callahan enthalten.

Maybe she wrote more than one piece for organ, but at this point in time, only one piece is known: a „chorale“ in E major. This piece was published in 1914 and can be found on IMSLP. It’s marked as „non public domain in EU“ due to the biographical data of Joseph Joubert, the publisher. However, the piece is also part of the collection „Women Composer’s Album“, edited by Charles Callahan.
